AC Milan set sights on Italy star: Manchester United and Tottenham are interested.

AC MILAN have entered the race to sign Manchester United and Tottenham target Franco Vazquez this summer

The 27-year-old attacking midfielder scored eight goals and provided seven assists for Serie A side Palermo last season.
And that form has seen him linked with a host of Europe's top clubs.
New United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on a deal to take him to Old Trafford, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
But Tottenham boss Maurcio Pochettino is also said to be monitoring Vazquez's situation, with Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini admitting he is likely to be sold this summer.
"We won't hold on to Vazquez," he told Italian outlet Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli earlier this month
There's a market for him to leave, we're dealing with some international clubs."
However, both sides may face a fight from seven-time Champions League winners Milan for Vazquez.
Serie A transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says the Italy international will be offered a move to the San Siro once an impending takeover is completed
Chinese investors are currently negotiating with Silvio Berlusconi to take a controlling stake in Milan and they are said to be keen to make a number of marquee acquisitions.
Also on their radar is outgoing Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, who has been linked with the Southampton job should Ronald Koeman complete his switch to Everton.
